A Patients and Families Support Group

A UK website about atypical Haemolytic Uraemic Syndrome (aHUS)

Who are we?

Who are we?

Answers for aHUS is the opportunity for those affected by atypical Haemolytic Uremic Syndrome ( aHUS)  in the UK to support treatment development for the illness.

Its mission is to support aHUS research ,primarily through facilitating fundraising and  encouraging study participation,  and also  give a voice to patients about what is needed to get the best care pathway for aHUS in the UK.

It  will be helped to achieve that by working in a partnership with Kidney Research UK.

A group of volunteers will help steer the course of Answers for aHUS but all in the aHUS community can be involved in the capacity they choose to be.

The following volunteers have come forward so far:

Kim Balsdon

Christine Western

Chris Winchester
